Mario Matthew Martinez Jr., age 22, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly at his home on October 31, 2012. He was a passionate cook and son, in the family business known as Mario's Place. He was born on March 18, 1990, to Mauro and Cynthia (Nitz) Martinez. Mario was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeremy and Aaron Jowett of Oshkosh; grandpa, John Nitz, Jr., of Oshkosh; Paternal grandparents, Celso & Esperanza Martinez of Oaxaca, Mexico. Survivors include his parents; sister, Miranda Martinez; grandma, Germaine (Larry) Esser; niece, Chloe Jowett; favorite uncle, Donald Jowett, all of Oshkosh; nephew, Connor Jowett and sister in law, Sarah Jowett of Merced, CA.; along with many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christian services will take place at 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012, at St. Jude the Apostle Parish (St. Vincent Site), 1225 Oregon St., with Father Matthew Simonar officiating.
