Marion Clara Marie Dodd, age 70 of rural Omro, passed away on Monday morning, July 26, 2004 at the Omro Care Center. She was born in Oshkosh on March 28, 1934 to Edward and Evelyn (Hill) Brunck. She married John Philip Dodd on March 21, 1953. Marion spent most of her life farming with John, but also worked at Plus Wood, Pickett Cannery, Sexton Can, Morgan Doors and Miles Kimball. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and fishing.

Marion was loved and will be missed by her husband, John of Omro; children, Mary Helm of Oshkosh, Nancy (Steve) Nigbor of Berlin, Gerald (DeVita) Dodd of Oshkosh, Carol (John) Hurley of Oshkosh, Ronald ( Jo Ann) Dodd of Omro, Kenneth (Tracy) Dodd of Oshkosh, Sheila (William) Neitzel of Oshkosh, 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Lois Bartow of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Dodd, her parents Edward and Evelyn Brunck and mother and father-in-law; Ethel and Harold Dodd.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Omro and then again on Thursday from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 P.M. with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
