Marion was born on October 29, 1932,
in
Milwaukee.
She
graduated from
St
.
John's
Cathedral
High School in 1950. Marion and Andy were
married
on April 11,
1953,
and were blessed with their five children who she loved with all
her heart
and soul. She worked at the First Wisconsin Bank before starting her family and choosing to be a full-time homemaker. Later in life, Marion worked as an assistant for the Church of Good Hope in Milwaukee until retiring and relocating to Oshkosh in 1996. Andy and
Marion
spent many years traveling together before and after retirement.
They
loved spending time at
their
condo in Fort Myers during the winter months. After Andy's passing in 2015, she traveled with her children and their families and made precious memories. She had the best sense of humor and lit up the room with her laughter and beautiful
smile.
She loved gardening and flowers. She was
talented
in so many ways and enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements for charity and family
.
Another of her favorite things to do was playing bingo with family and special friends. Her faith
and
family were
most
important in her life and she had a special relationship with each one of us. She
was
a dedicated parishioner of St
.
Raphael's in Oshkosh.
Marion
lived
a
life
of
service
to
those
in
need.
She
volunteered
for
28
years
at Fr.
Carr's
Place
2B,
where
she enjoyed the company of
her
spiritual counselor and close friend, Fr
.
Dave Duffeck, Sr. Grace, Sr
.
Angela, Sr. Matilda and many wonderful volunteers. Marion had a very deep devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary and proudly decorated the Chapel at Fr. Carr's. She touched everyone she met and was
loved
by
all
who
knew
her.
She
was
a
supportive,
strong,
classy,
fun-loving
lady
with
a
heart
of
gold
and
the matriarch of our
family.
She will
be
dearly missed until we meet again
.
