Marion W. (Bud) Worden, age 90, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully early Friday morning, October 25, 2013 at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac. Bud was born May 18, 1923, in Racine, WI, the son of Claude and Ruth (Corder) Worden. He had worked at Johnson Control in Milwaukee. In earlier years, Bud enjoyed fishing, camping, photography, horses and riding his motorcycle. In recent years, he enjoyed riding his scooter while taking his dog Rocky for a walk.
Bud is loved and will be missed by his daughter, Sandy Carter of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Vonette (Scott Jochman) Anderson, Skipp (Amy Lesch) Worden, Duane (Trish) Carter, Leslie (Bobby) Trentadue, Ken (Julie) Crull, Norma Carter, Richard Crull, Tamara Worden, and Bobby Carter; great grandchildren, Kurtis, Brett, Dominick, Kaela, Brandon, Dennis, Brittany, Amber, Sarah, Genevieve, Darren, Alex, Julian, Ana' and Bella; as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives Gwendolyn and Mary; sister, Arliss and brothers, Merle, Lester, David and Dale; daughters, Helen Smiser and Verleen Crull; son Claude Worden; granddaughter Victoria Crull; and great grandson Cody Crull.
Graveside committal service will be held at the Omro Cemetery on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. There will also be a Celebration of Life luncheon following the burial, to be held at the Fin 'N Feather Restaurant, 22 W. Main Street, Winneconne, WI from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff of both Woodlands Senior Park and Agnesian Hospice Hope for all their care and support shown to Bud and the rest of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to either Woodlands Senior Park and Agnesian Hospice Hope.
