Marjorie Elaine (Tomasek) Ostrowski, 66, of Omro, was granted eternal rest on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Marjorie was born April 12, 1941, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Tschurwald) Williams. She was raised in Canada with her parents owning and operating the Viking Lodge. She also attended Omro Schools and lived with her grandmother, Emma Relien. Retired, Marjorie had previously worked at the Wisconsin Telephone Company and the Omro Care Center for 25 years.
Previously married to Richard Deppe (son, Jeffrey) and divorced. Remarried to Dr. James Tomasek (deceased), who owned and operated the Omro Animal Hospital. Remarried to Dr. Henry Ostrowski. Dr. Henry Ostrowski survives Marjorie.
Marjorie is also survived by her son, Jeffrey Deppe (wife Julie) and granddaughters, Erin and Erica Kelly all of Omro; sisters, Joanne Bradley of Cuba City, Rosemary (James) Witkowski of Oshkosh, Elizabeth Williams of Missouri and Sharon (William) Franzin of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
Marjorie was very active in the local community. She had made a difference in many peoples lives with love, kindness and guidance, always putting her family and friends first.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4-7 P.M. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., Omro, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Joseph Mattern officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omro.
