Mark L. Kratz, age 48 of Oshkosh died on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at his residence. Mark was born in Oshkosh on October 19, 1955 to Leonard and Corinne Pierce Kratz. Mark grew up in Omro, and graduated from Omro High School, then attended UW Oshkosh. Mark like to read, was quiet and soft spoken and was devoted to his family. Mark enjoyed playing sports, such as baseball and tennis, and was very gifted at basketball.

Mark is loved and will be missed by his mother, Corinne Kratz of Oshkosh, sister, Stephanie Kitsemble of Sarasota, FL; brother Stephen Kratz of Appleton; niece Heather Kratz, Aunts and Uncles Nancy & Ben Hiebel of Oshkosh, Ned & Anita Pierce of Boulder Junction, WI; Jan Pierce of Pennsylvania, Hazel Kalata of Ripon and many cousins and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father and many Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2004 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Omro Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:30 p.m., with Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Memorials appreciated to Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
