Mary Ann Edmonds, of Oshkosh, age 89, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. She was born in Oshkosh on July 11, 1928 the daughter of the late August and Metha (Hasley) Woldt. On May 8, 1954 she married her husband of 29 years, Richard Edmonds. He preceded her in death in 1983. Mary Ann attended UW-Madison, and then became a chief operator at Wisconsin Telephone Company. She supported Richard's businesses which included Anderson's Bookstore. Later, she worked in rehabilitation, helping people at Oshkosh Care Center. Mary Ann enjoyed the outdoors and loved to garden. She was a pianist who not only enjoyed playing but teaching it as well. Mary Ann will be remembered for the never-ending support she provided to her family. Her life was dedicated to her children.
Mary Ann is survived by her children: Tim (Barbara) Edmonds, Janet (David) Vroman, Cathy (John) Kumbalek; grandchildren: Troy, Andrew and Alexander Edmonds; Jason (Kristin) Vroman, Amy (Walt) Johnson, and Katie (Craig) Spanbauer; and Nicole (Andrew) Barazia, Aron Kumbelek, and Karli Kumbalek; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Heidbrink; and cousin, Doris Kerski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and son, David Edmonds.
It was Mary Ann's wish to have a private family service.
