Mary Alice Ehrenberg, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Thursday afternoon, October 25, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center. Born on October 28, 1931, in Oshkosh, to Rueben and Flora (Siewert) Meuler, she attended Grace Lutheran School and graduated from Oshkosh High School. On July 5, 1952, Mary Alice married Charles Ehrenberg at Grace Lutheran Church. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ladies Aide, Sewing Circle, and worked with the School Lunch Program. Mary Alice was known for her cooking, baking, and sewing. She worked with various businesses such as: Lennon's, AT & T, Miles Kimball (seasonal), and Upjohn's.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 60 years, Charles Ehrenberg of Oshkosh; two daughters, Linda Ann (Terry) Eisner of Stevens Point and Carol Roberta (John) McBrair of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Sara Marie Eisner, Cody Robert Eisner, Jerrod Michael (Dawn Marie) McBrair, William Charles McBrair, and Lacy "Curtains" McBrair; great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Paige, Mercedes "Sadie", Madelyn, and Dominic. Preceding Mary Alice in death are her parents and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Eisner.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street, with Reverend Chadwick Graham officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place in Lake View Memorial Park. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in Mary Alice's memory would be appreciated.
