Mary H. Jenkins, age 53, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 16, 2004. Mary passionately loved animals and the outdoors, working in her yard. She loved feeding the birds, cutting the grass, working in the garden, laughing and especially loved going to the casinos.
Mary left behind four brothers and one sister: Thomas (Dorothy) Jenkins of Six Lakes, Michigan, William Jenkins of Oshkosh, Robert (Cindy) Jenkins of Oshkosh, Joni Geiger of Oshkosh and John (Debbie) Jenkins of Oshkosh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews other relatives and dear friends. Mary will be extremely missed by her dog Emma and cat Squirt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sigrid Jenkins and an aunt, Helen Eckman. Her family finds comfort knowing that Mary is at peace.
A memorial service celebrating Mary's life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 3 p.m. at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street with the Reverend Joel Olsen officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society in Mary's name.
