Mary Ann Seffker age 80 of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton of complications from pneumonia. She was born on July 3, 1930 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sophia (Tikalsky) Wenzel.
Mary Ann was married to Allen Seffker for 42 years. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2002. She and her husband lived and raised their family in West Allis and late Oshkosh. Mary Ann was a faithful Catholic, and enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting, playing scrabble, playing cards, and taking care of her family.
Surviving Mary Ann are her children: Mary Ellen (Lance) Panzer of Oak Creek, Barbara Monk (fiancé James Donovan) of West Allis, Angie (Dan) Cope of Port Washington, and Allen Seffker of Greenfield; grandchildren: Bradford (fiancée Tara Tatum) Monk, William (Stephanie) Monk, John (Lauren) Monk, Anna Monk, Augie Yates, Brandon Cope, and Margaret Cope; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Lily Monk; brothers: Harland (Ann) Wenzel, James (Nancy) Wenzel, Victor (Greta) Wenzel, and Sidney (Penny) Wenzel; sisters, Rosalind Vomberg and Angie (Paul) Koehler; and sister-in-law, Diane Kopiness. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Geneva Nettekoven; and brothers: Alan, Wallace, and Donald Wenzel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time for visiting and sharing memories will be held at the funeral chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
