Mary Ann Uher, 54 of St. Paul, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Regents Medical Center, St. Paul, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at St. Rafael's Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh, with Fr. Dan Felton officiating. Burial will be in the Tice Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services at the Church.
Mary was born July 12, 1949 in Stevens Point to the late Arthur and Jessie (Masalski) Uher. Mary was a kind and gentle person who always saw the good in others. She was a caring and loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She had a strong faith in God and was active in her church. She regularly attended a Thursday night Bible Study Group at church and for many years volunteered for the church's religious education program.
Mary was a collector of treasures and enjoyed many peaceful pastimes, such as reading, movies, theatre, gardening and traveling. Mary was meticulous, paying great attention to detail, which served her well in her role as family historian.
She is survived and will be missed by her sister, Bonita (Preston) Searles of Oshkosh; two brothers, Arthur (Suzanne) Uher of De Pere and Jerome (Susan) Uher of Stevens Point; seven nieces and nephews, Amy Uher, Andy Uher, Stacy (Chris) Viau, Angie (Joel) Ehlen, Andrea Uher, Aaron Uher, and Cindy (Mike) Broker; three great nieces and nephews, Suzanna Viau, Leo and Maya Ehlen, other relatives and many friends.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Canada.
