Michael "Mike" Paul Kafer of Eureka WI, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 27th 2022. Mike was born December 22nd 1961 to the late George and Dorothy (Rodencal) Kafer.

Mike graduated from Berlin High School in 1981 where he was involved in wrestling and football. On June 30th 1989 Mike married the love of his life Florence Ann Basler. Mike and Flo worked together for many years, hand in hand, rain or shine, on the family farm. Mike lived a simple and humble life, working at the family farm until his retirement in 2019. Many family and friends would describe him as a gentle and caring man. In his retirement, Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with his snowmobile, driving his UTV and spending his summers camping.

Mike is survived by his wife of 32 years Flo Kafer. Children Billie Jo, Alex, Paul, Richard (Hiedi), Amber (Dan). Siblings Peggy (Jim) Hendricks, George (Gwen) Kafer, Chris (Gina) Kafer, Pat (Stacy) Kafer. As well as 12 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friend Sean Edinger. Mike was preceded in death by his sisters Kathy Sue and Polly Ann Kafer, grandson Richard Westenberger III and mother and father in law Bill and Ann Basler.

Service will be at the Eureka United Methodist Church Wednesday April 6th 2022. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am, with burial immediately following at Eureka Cemetery.
