Michael J. Putzer, age 64, of rural Omro, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at his home. Born on July 10, 1952, in Oshkosh to John and Ruth (Halder), Mike was the oldest of nine children. Mike married Constance Giddings and she preceded him in death on November 1, 1988. Employed by Radford Company for 40 years as a carpenter, Mike enjoyed time spent hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Survivors include his two children, John (Kate) Putzer of Oshkosh and Toni (Ryan) Tanner of Omro; five grandchildren, Layla, Lauryn, Gavin, Gilliann, and Garrett; eight siblings, Ann, Steve (Diane), Sara (Steve), Greg, Teresa (Gary), Carol (Sid), Beth(Bruce),and Doug(Connie); a brother-in-law, John Giddings; a sister-in-law, Kate Wipf; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mike in death is his wife and parents. Private family services will be held at a later date.
