Obituary

Michael J. Yenter, born on August 10, 1952, passed away on October 14, 2011 at the age of 59. Mike served in the U.S. Army and worked as a glass glazier. He enjoyed playing golf, coaching his sons' little league teams, watching Packer games, and most of all, playing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Yenter; his mother, Gertrude Samson; and his niece, Merry Kluth.
Mike is survived by his wife, Linda (Haertl) Yenter; sons: Chad (Alyssa), Christopher (Johanna), and Bryon (Sarah); grandchildren: Shylee, Riley, Oliver, and Zayden; brothers: Paul, Larry (Maria), Roger (Lou), and Alan (Jackie); sisters: Sandra (David) and Nancy (Steve); his step-mother, Alice Yenter; and many other family members and friends.
The Yenter family thanks the staff of the U.W. Madison Hospital and Theda Clark Medical Center for their care and compassion. Very special thanks to Mike's niece, April Fuller for being his wing-man through everything.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time for sharing memories and support will be held at the funeral chapel on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mike's name.
