Michael Ziebell, age 58, of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday evening August 31, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center. Mike was born on February 26, 1946 a son of Albert J. and Willetta Mae (James) Ziebell. He faithfully served his country in Vietnam in the US Army. Mike married the former Connie M. Peterson on April 12, 1977. He had worked for the former Duwe Pre-Cast Co. and currently had been working for Block Iron and Supply Company for the past 5? years. Mike greatly enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and had recently become an antique tractor enthusiast. He also enjoyed camping and time spent with his family and friends, along with the Sunday social pool league. Mike will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife Connie M. of Oshkosh; three sons, Shawn (Karla) Ziebell of Oshkosh and Dan Spice, of Janesville, Albert "A.J." Ziebell of Oshkosh; his father, Albert J. Ziebell of Oshkosh; three brothers, Jim Ziebell of California; John (Donna) Ziebell of Winneconne and Pete (Peggy) Ziebell of Gardnerville, Nevada; a sister, Mary (Rick) Bowman of Oshkosh. He is further survived by three grandchildren, Alex and Lauren Ziebell; Sidney Spice; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willetta M. Ziebell on June 4, 2004 and a brother, Albert J. Ziebell.
Family and friends may call at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels 1025 Oregon Street on Friday, September 3, 2004 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at which time the Reverend Dan Felton will welcome and lead all in attendance in a service celebrating Mike's life. In lieu of flower tributes, a memorial fund is being established in Mike's name.
