Mildred "Millie" J. Meisel, age 97, passed away at Bethel Home in Oshkosh on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was born in Milwaukee on March 27, 1917, the daughter of the late David and Josephine (Ross) Hanson. On July 11, 1936 she married William Meisel in Baraboo. Millie was a long time volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul and loved to dance with the Oshkosh Senior Center.
She is survived by her son: William (Kathleen) Meisel; grandchildren: William (Shannon) Meisel, Curt Meisel and Nicole (John) Huber; great-grandchildren: Cassandra, Peter, Daniel, Elizabeth, Charles and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Janice Meisel; brother, David Hanson; and sister, Alice Hanson.
A private service will be held.
