Miriam L. Frank, age 84, of Oshkosh, accepted the invitation to join the Choirs of Angels, on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Bethel Home. She was born to Alan and Ruth (Carl) Davis in Oshkosh on August 3, 1920. On June 1, 1940 she married Carl Frank who preceded her in death on December 7, 1995.
Miriam was a good, loving, and caring individual. She was a good friend. Qualities that made her a good mother; and that led her to volunteer, through the Red Cross, at Mercy Medical Center.
Miriam is survived by: daughter, Sylvia (John) Shaw of Boca Raton, Florida; daughter, Mary Ann Doro of Oshkosh; and son, Robert (Betsy) Frank of Marshfield. She is further survived by grandchildren: Lisa Frank, Amy Adkins, Chris (Patricia) Shaw, Natalie Frank, Nathan Frank, Jessica Schiessl, and Molly Doro; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Melissa (William) Stowe of Oshkosh; brother, Robert (special friend Eileen Delwich) Davis of Forestville; and sister-in-law, Marion (Wayne) Balsley of Oshkosh. Her husband; son, Carl Jr.; parents; and sister, June (Harcourt) Ives preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held for Miriam at 11:00 A.M., on Friday May 6, 2005, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1325 Georgia Street. Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
