Monona J. Lewellyn, "Teet" age 83, of Pickett, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born August 26, 1931, in Eureka, the youngest daughter of 8 children born to Marshall and Lydia (Baum) Grant. Teet attended school in Omro and was a graduate of Omro High School. She married Lynn Lewellyn in Omro on April 29, 1950. Together they owned and operated Lynn's Bar in Waukau from 1960 until she retired in 2003. Teet loved the Brewers and watched every game she could. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Giles Luce Post 364 in Winneconne.Survivors include her daughter, Annie (Chris) Sherlin of Pickett, son, Douglas Lewellyn of Van Dyne; granddaughters, Lisa Meyer, Erika Lewellyn; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lynn on July 27, 1989; sisters, Mag, June, Joann, Bid; brothers, Bud, Ken, Tuffy; granddaughter, Jodi; grandson, Kurt and daughter in law, Sharon.Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the funeral home in Omro from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a remembrance service at 7:30 p.m. Teet will be laid to rest next to her husband in Waukau Cemetery. A memorial in her name is being established.Annie would like to thank everyone at Affinity Hospice, especially Ryan, for going above and beyond in providing excellent care not only to her mother, but to herself as well.
