Nancy L. Dietz, age 59, passed away Thursday morning, May 28, 2009 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. Nancy was born in Rhinelander, August 20, 1949, the daughter of Evard and Viola Theilig Lueck. She grew up in Rhinelander, was a graduate of Rhinelander High School and later attended Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton where she received a degree in Interior Design. While attending FVTC, she was a student ambassador. Nancy married Richard C. Dietz on June 27, 1995 in Big Sky, Montana. Before moving to Montana, Nancy had worked as a floral designer at Copps on Wisconsin Ave. in Appleton. In 2006, she had received the Montana Floral Designer of the year award. Nancy had many passions in life. She enjoyed floral design, knitting, quilting, crocheting, tatting, painting and cooking.

Nancy is loved and will be missed by her husband, Dick; children, Joanne (Jake) Bishop, Timothy Kress and Andrew (Tara) Kress all of Rhinelander; grandchildren, Lukas, Michael, Olivia and Callie; brother, Dennis Lueck of Zion, IL; sister, Carol Gehrt of Neenah; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 Madison Ave., Omro from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jason Blahnik and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. A memorial has been established.
