Nancy C. Johnson (Nee Belkye), joined her husband, Nyle, in eternal rest on September 13, 2014. She left peacefully, from her home, surrounded by her daughters. Nancy was born in Oshkosh, WI on July 5, 1936 to Gustav and Lillian Belkye. She attended school in Oshkosh, graduating from Oshkosh High School in 1954. Nancy married the love of her life, Nyle Johnson, on April 14, 1956. Together they had four daughters and shared 51 years. Nancy enjoyed homemaking and gardening all of her life. She was retired from Mercy Medical Center where she was "an angel of mercy" for many years.She is survived by her daughters, Diane Flanigan, Cathy (Todd) Weisnicht and their sons, Dana and Andrew, Vickie (David) Larson and their daughters, Trini, Olga and Gina, Joy (Frank) Larsen, Joy's son, Adam and his son, Sayid. Nancy is also survived by her sister, Janice Geen; sister-in-law, Beverly Belkye; her very close cousins, Laurie Koepke and Terry "Butch" Crisp; her life-long friend, Carol Sobojinski and nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gustav Belkye and Lillian Hackbarth; her step-father, Gunther Hackbarth; brother, Clarence Belkye; brother-in-law, James Geen; son-in-law, Glen Flanigan and her nephew, David Geen.The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, and to the hospice services of the Affinity Visiting Nurses. Your care and compassion, both for mom and for our family, led us through this difficult time.
