Nic went home to his Savior on Sunday, August 26th surrounded by his family and close friends that were his second family.
Nic was a very kind and gentle man, to know Nic was to love him. He touched our lives and made them more joyful. Nic loved to share his culinary creativity, one of his greatest joys was doing so for his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Nic had a very Tomaschefski competitive nature so, any visit or event would always turn into an opportunity to play a game or compete in some way.
Nic is survived by his parents, Larry and Irene Buck (Tomaschefski), his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Kevin Manning, his nephew Zane and niece Zoe along with many aunts and uncles, cousins and very close and special friends, Patrick Gelhar, Lisa Nelson, Joe and Carrie Shipman, Brent Schneider and Steve Mathison and countless other friends.
Nic was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thaddeous and Barbara Tomaschefski, paternal grandfather, Donald Buck, uncles Steve and Craig Buck.
A celebration of Nic's life will take place on Saturday September 1st at First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We will begin with a luncheon and sharing at noon with memorial celebration service at 1:30. Online condolences may be given at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
