Norma Drobnick, age 91, of Omro, passed away on June 20, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She experienced the joy of visits from her children, many of her grandchildren and great-grand children in her last few days of life. Norma was born to Emil and Ethel (Cady) Prahl in Oshkosh, on December 3, 1925. She was raised along with her six siblings in Weyauwega, WI. Norma married Lewis Drobnick on August 29, 1948.  Together they had four children, settled in Omro and made it their home.  She was an active member in her community, volunteering for a variety of causes and organizations. Norma enjoyed gardening, baking and watching her favorite Wisconsin sports teams. She was a loving person whose kind and gentle spirit was felt by all who knew her. Norma will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.Norma is survived by her children, Sandy (John McNamee) Drobnick of Boscobel, Richard (Deb McFaul) Drobnick of Chetek, Cynthia (James) Eisenman of Oconomowoc, and Douglas (Karrie) Drobnick of Greenville; her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Bonnie (Keith) Schoenick, Carol (George) Vogel, Merrold (Mary) Prahl, Dennis (Nancy) Prahl, and Merlyn (Joyce) Prahl, sister-in-law Vera Schmieden. Norma is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Drobnick; her sister, Geraldine Hecht; and her parents, Emil and Ethel (Cady) Prahl.A funeral for Norma will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 12:00 Noon, with Rev. Richard Bartholomew at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro. A time for visitation for family and friends will take place before the time of the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Norma's name. The family would like to give a special thank you to all of Norma's caring friends, neighbors, and relatives during her final days.
