Pamela J. Ellis, age 53, of Omro, lost a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday evening June 21, 2005 at the Omro Care Center. She was born December 29, 1951, in Oshkosh, WI., the daughter of Nial and Margie (Hackney) Ellis. She worked as a Social Worker at the Redgranite Correctional Institution. Despite of what was going on in her life; Pam always maintained a positive attitude. Friends and family will fondly remember her keen sense of humor, her love of dogs and the enjoyment she received from reading. Baking apple and rhubarb pies were her specialty.

Pam is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Keri Jari of Omro; her mother, Margie Ellis of Omro; sister, Julie (Butch) Muldenhauer of California; brothers, Tom (Brenda) Ellis and Robert (Sharron) Ellis both of Omro; her sisters in law, Connie Ellis and Karen Ellis; special friends, Nancy, Linda, Sue & Holly; Keri's grandparents, Rod & Robin Jari; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Nial Ellis and two brothers, David and James Ellis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. A memorial has been established.
