Pamela J. "Mema" Friedauer, age 65, passed away at Manor Care in Appleton with her loving family by her side on Monday, May 15, 2017. She was born in Oshkosh on December 24, 1951 the daughter of R. David and Jean (Stutzman) Livingstone. On June 19, 1971 she married her husband of 45 years, Michael Friedauer. Pamela worked for many years as a caregiver for Clarity Care. Pamela enjoyed baking, cooking, and especially shopping. She will be remembered for being a kind and giving person, and the love she had for children. She was known as the "Candy Grandma" and always had a smile on her face. Pamela is survived by her husband, Michael; sons: Troy Friedauer and Dave (friend, Sarah Krueger) Friedauer; grandchildren: Kayla Friedauer, Benjamin Friedauer and Dawsyn Friedauer; brother, Mark (Sherry) Livingstone; sister-in-law, who was like a sister, Patricia Friedauer; nieces and nephews: Amy (Mark) Hechel, Brian (Megan) Friedauer, Brook (Micah) Heidel, Heather (Lee) Livingstone-Schwalenberg, Nicholas (Kimberly) Livingstone; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; in-laws: John and Dorothy Friedauer; and brothers-in-law: Thomas Friedauer and Joseph Friedauer. A private family gathering will be at a later date. The family extends a special thank you to Rev. Mark Albrecht for his wonderful care and many visits.
