Patricia M. Coats, age 89, of Omro, died peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Winneconne, on March 17, 1922, the daughter of Raymond and Gertrude (Keefe) Quigley. On January 30, 1943, she was united in marriage to Lyle H. Coats in Berlin, Wisconsin. Patricia enjoyed cooking for her family and always looked forward to attending the sporting events for her children and grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her three sons and two daughters: Lyle W. (Lynn) of Omro, Michael (Debbie) of Omro, Gary of Ripon, Carol (Peter) Stein of Butte des Morts, and Cindy (David) Houle of Omro; one daughter-in-law, Diane (Mike) Weitz of Oshkosh and one son-in-law, Paul Traxler of Omro. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, John "Jack" (Mary Sue) Quigley of Winneconne; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Alice, son, Wayne, grandson Brad, and brother, Roland Nelson.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Private burial will take place at the Rushford Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Park View Health Center and Mercy Medical Center for the caring and compassionate care given to Patricia.
