Paul F. Campbell, age 60, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2009. Paul was born in Fond du Lac, WI, on January 18, 1949, the son of Normond L. and Mary Helen Friedel Campbell. Paul was educated in the Omro School System and was a 1968 graduate of Omro High School where he was a championship wrestler. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1971. Paul was a voracious reader and enjoyed watching the History and Science Channel on TV. He enjoyed cats and dogs and especially liked cooking in the kitchen.

Paul is loved and will be missed by his wife, Julie and her children, Sandy Tritt (Jeff) and Jodi (Josh) Jenkins and their five grandchildren; his son, Matthew (Joyce) of Atlanta, GA; Matthew's mother, Irene Campbell of Winneconne; his mother, Mary Helen Campbell of Waukau; brothers, David (Mary) of Augusta, Maine, Stephen (Juniette) of Winneconne, Edward (Jennifer) of Neenah and L. Shawn (Rose) of Oshkosh; sisters, Mary Jo (Jeff) Chriske of Omro, Carole (Joe) Dorsch of Pickett and Margaret of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Normond L. Campbell and brother, Greyling.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 730 Madison Ave, Omro at 10:30 A.M. with Fr. Joseph Mattern and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Memorials in Paul's name may be directed to the Winneconne Fire Dept., any local library, or the Humane Society.
