Paul J. Pietkivitch, age 16, of Oshkosh, died Saturday evening, October 30, 2004 at his home. He was born on December 9, 1987 in Oshkosh to John and Sarah (Griffey) Pietkivitch Sr. Paul was a Junior at Oshkosh West High School.
Paul loved games, his car and puppies. Paul loved to dance, sing and joke. Paul loved trampolines, skateboards and diving boards and the sheer delight of being air borne. Paul loved the water and the home he grew up in. Paul was an innovative young man and he accomplished many goals in his young life. Mostly, Paul loved his friends and family and making us all laugh. Paul will be sadly missed by all who shared in the joy of knowing him.
Survivors include his parents: John and Sarah Pietkivitch of Oshkosh; one brother: John Pietkivitch Jr. of Oshkosh; one sister: Lea Pietkivitch of Oshkosh; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Preceding Paul in death are his grandparents: Alvin and Dolores Pietkivitch and James and Bertha Griffey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. in Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 South Westhaven Dr., with Reverend Daniel Felton officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. His family is establishing a memorial in Paul's memory.
