Paula Gail Spaeth, age 74 of Butte des Morts, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. She was born on June 12, 1932 to Roland and Arleen (Steinert) Sonn. On August 12, 1950 she married Elmer A. Spaeth. He preceded her in death in June of 1989.

Paula was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing genealogy and getting together with her cousins. She will be remembered as a best friend, and an all around good person who will be greatly missed.

Paula is survived by her sisters: Donna (George) Kalter and Sandra Sonn; and many cousins. Her parents preceded her in death as well as her husband Elmer and significant other, Jim Hoe.

Funeral services for Paula will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Reverend Tim Greenwald officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation and support at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
