Pauline Doris Kaelin, age 78 of Oshkosh, died at Aurora Medical Center on Monday, March 9, 2009. She was born in Oshkosh on December 17, 1930 to William and Edna (Schuff) Golz. On July 8, 1950 she and Richard Kaelin Sr. went to Dubuque, Iowa to be married. They enjoyed 53 years together until his death on June 13, 2004.

A loving, caring, and giving mother was Pauline. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing bingo and looked forward to her annual trips to stay at the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and watching the Packers and Brewers.

Surviving Pauline are her children: Richard Jr. (friend Connie), Russell (Gloria), Michael, Lynn, Katherine (Rich) Rennert, John (Julie), and Pam (Terry) Olejnik; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Judy) Golz; and sister, Alice Veith. In addition to her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by one grandchild, Richard Kaelin III, and siblings: William Golz, Robert Golz, and Joyce Horton.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of gathering and sharing memories will be held at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
