Philip "Phil" I. Fleischman, age 97, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center on Thursday, September 5, 2013. He was born in Oshkosh on June 8, 1916 the son of the late Ignasius and Elsie Suess. On September 29, 1950 he married his wife, Shirley Saft. She survives, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. Phil enjoyed his winters in Daytona Beach with his wife, his dogs, and fixing cars.
It was Phil's wish to have no services.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Mercy Medical Center, especially the "girls on second floor," for their wonderful care.
