Philip R. Pettit Sr. 8-27-1936 to 5-9-2017, 80 years old of Plainfield, WI, formally of New Berlin, passed away May 9, 2017. Hemarried Karren Bauer on 1-3-1959. They were married for 57 years. Phil had worked at Borden Dairy for 40 years and was an U.S. Army Veteran. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family. Phil taught his children and grandchildren to fish, hunt, swim and to enjoy life! Phil is loved and will be missed by his wife, Karren; children, grandchildren and great – grandchildren as follows; Phil and Karrens, son, Phil Jr. and his wife, Lynn, their son, Paul, his wife Ashley, and their children, Talan and Charlie, Phil Jr.'s, and his wife, Lynn's daughter, Carrie, her husband, Wade Mather and their children, Lucy and Henry; Phil and Karren's son, Don and friend Cathy Sickora, his children, daughter, Donele and husband, Michael Mieding and Don's son, Michald and his daughters, Kylei and Shayla, Don's daughter, Shannon; Phil's son, Steven and his children, Nick, Holly and Chloe, Phil and Karren's daughter, Barb and her husband, Eric Haka, and their six children, Terry, Mark and his children, Dreavon and Devin, Andy and his children, Tessa, Jaden, Joselyn, Zada, Ariah, and Isaih; Dominick, Natasha, Jasmine and Tiffany. Phil was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa; parents, Gordon and Margarite (Siewart); and brothers Thomas and James. Phil had worked at Borden Dairy for 40 years and was an U.S. Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his family. He taught hischildren and grandchildren to fish, hunt, swim and to enjoy life! Graveside committal services with full military honors were held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Sunnyside Cemetery in New Berlin, WI.
