Phillip J. Mishleau, age 78, of Omro, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, at The Omro Care Center. Phillip was born in Milton, Wisconsin, the son of the late Phillip Mishleau and Evelyn (Woods), on January 2, 1937. Phillip married Hazel (Carey) in Dubuque, Iowa, on March 14, 1958. She passed away in February, 2011. He had strong faith in his Lord, and was active at Fox Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church in Neenah, WI. Phillip cherished time spent visiting with anyone. He enjoyed listening to his books on tape, he loved his cats, traveling, gardening, and was known to take things to the extreme. Phillip is survived by three daughters, Tamarah Finch, Audrey Portell, and Susan (Gordon) Pehler; two sons, Jackson and Kent (Delores); brothers, Herb, Dale, Ronald, Charles, Wayne, and Neil; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Harley; sister, Ruth; and grandchildren, Jeremy and Dominique.A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015, 2:00 pm, at Fox Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Neenah, WI, with Kent Mishleau officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
