Obituary
Ramona (nee Jorgensen) Neitzke, 91, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on September 11, 2023. She was born on January 14, 1932, to Lillian (Brey) and Elmer Jorgensen in Poy Sippi, WI.
Ramona married Vernon Neitzke on June 4, 1955, and together they had two sons and shared 58 years together. Ramona was a member of the Quilters Group at Grace Lutheran as well as a former greeter for church. She enjoyed crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, reading, letter puzzle books and jigsaw puzzles. Ramona was also an off-campus volunteer for Mercy medical and stitched beanies for babies.
She is survived by her sons, David (Renee) Neitzke and Kevin (Teri) Neitzke; grandchildren, Lucas (Chrissy) Neitzke, Matthew (Jamie) Neitzke, Joshua (Kristi) Neitzke, Alex (Nani) Ristow, and Zach Ristow; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Emerson, Marissa, Austin, Jackson, Landon, Abigail, Lakai, Lex, and Linkin; sister, Gwen Leifheit; and sister-in-law, Marion Neitzke. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Preceding her in death, husband, Vernon Neitzke; parents, Lillian and Elmer Jorgensen; sisters, Darlene Trickey, and Shelby Jorgensen.
A funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran 913 Nebraska Street, Oshkosh, WI 54902 on Monday September 18, 2023, with a visitation being held from 11AM until 1PM and service to follow. She will be buried at Ellenwood Cemetery with her husband Vernon following services.
