Obituary

Randee Lynn Sheets Lesnick, 46, of Stockbridge, WI, was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord, on June 28, 2016. She was born April 17, 1970, to Charles and Ellen (Haedt) Sheets in Berlin, WI. She attended Omro Schools, graduating in 1988. She attended UW Oshkosh and later graduated from Cardinal Stritch University, Suma Cum Laude. Randee continued her education throughout her life, receiving her Masters in Human Behavior and working on her PhD in Psychology at the time of her passing. She was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church.Randee was loved and loved life. She enjoyed the serenity of her farmette. The remodeled house was her vision for her to enjoy with her children, extended children, and the family often gathered there. Randee found fulfillment in taking care of those she loves. She also enjoyed running for personal growth with Joel. They ran 5K's to full marathons, including Paris, France; and were looking forward to the New York Marathon in November. Randee enjoyed travel and her many jobs fulfilled that desire both in the USA and abroad. Randee leaves behind two children, Michael Lesnick of Stockbridge, WI and Mandi (Rick) Kohlmann of Watertown, WI; mother, Ellen Sheets of Omro, WI; sister, Karen (Bobby) Thomas of Jessieville, AR; three nephews, Jason Knoll of Oshkosh; Robert (Brooke) Knoll of Ripon and Stephen Knoll of Roanoke, VA; three great nieces, Hannah, Brooklynn and Abigail Knoll; and great nephew, Logan Knoll. Randee also leaves her love and soulmate, Joel Portmann of Stockbridge, WI and his children, Kaylah (Mohamad) Foudah of Grand Chute, WI, Ilizah (Luke Zuelsdorff) Portmann of Oshkosh, Hannah (Jason) Jeffers of Hilbert, WI, Garett Portmann and Alex Portmann, both of Stockbridge, WI; Godmother, Sharyl (Kenny) Crump of Berlin; special aunts, Ruthie Haedt of Omro and Rene "Karen" Haedt of Milwaukee and other aunts, uncles and cousins; very special friends, Marcia Haedt of Oshkosh, Rhonda Buchanan of Oshkosh, Traci Brinkmann of Plymouth and Ann Cataldo of Milwaukee, many other friends and family. She touched so many lives in the short time she was loaned to us. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Sheets; maternal grandparents, Stephen and Verona Haedt; paternal grandparents, Clarence Sheets and Agnes Smith; uncle, Kenneth Haedt and cousin, Brian Haedt.Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at Waukau United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Tommy Sukhyun Jung officiating. Randee will be laid to rest in the Portland Cemetery in Stockbridge. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
