Obituary
Ray Lewis Jones, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2025, in Omro, WI. He was born to parents, Gayland Edward and Beverly Ann (Lehman) Jones on June 11, 1960, in Oshkosh, WI and was a lifelong resident in Omro, WI.
After graduating from Omro High School, Ray continued his education in Early Childhood Education. Most recently in his later years, he was a Janitor/ Homemaker at a local healthcare facility. He always loved to help others with his kindness and positive outlook, inspired all who knew him.
He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers football team play and any type of classical show. Listening to music was also a favorite- anything from Stevie Nicks to Barbara Streisand to Madonna.
Ray is survived by his brother, Lee (Diane) Jones; nephew, Kenneth (Kayla) Jones and their son, Evan; niece, Crystal (Michael Matsche) Chitel and their children, Remi and Rhyatt; as well as several other family members and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Gayland Edward and Beverly Ann (Lehman) Jones.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Borth Cemetery at 2:00pm. After the service there will be a gathering at Tanners, where he resided, for family and friends to share stories and spend time together.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his honor.
