Reinhold A. Graper, age 90, of Omro, died November 25, 2014 at his home with his daughter at his side. He was born May 10, 1924, in Coloma, the son of the late Frank and Ella (Slife) Graper. He married Viola Bliske on June 26, 1948 in Ripon. She preceded him in death on March 22, 1984. Reinhold worked for many years at Paine Lumber Co. After it closed he worked at Oshkosh Door and Fenestra until his retirement. He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro and had served as lead usher until several months ago. Reinhold loved hunting, fishing, listening and dancing to Polkas and especially cherished the time spent with his family.Survivors include his daughter, Roxanne Casperson of Ripon; granddaughters, Amber Casperson of Princeton, Ashley Casperson of Los Angeles, CA; great granddaughter, Maci Kallas of Princeton; sisters, Hilda Padilla and Evelyn Henke both of Omro; sister in law, Elaine Graper; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; son in law, Brian Casperson; brothers, Henry and Herman; sisters, Esther Bliske, Clara Rick, Mabel Brown, Viola Domskie and special friend, Marilyn Looker.The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Bartholomew officiating. Reinhold will be laid to rest next to his wife at Omro Cemetery.The family would like to acknowledge and thank the Davita Dialysis Staff for their care and kindness through the years.
