Richard L. Janiak, age 86, of Poygan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at his home. Richard was born on July 13, 1925, the son of Albin and Florence (Lemieux) Janiak. He served his country in the US Army. He married Shirley Kraft on February 7, 1959, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He worked for and retired from Rockwell. Richard was very talented at building and fixing things.

Richard is survived by his wife, Shirley; brother, Daniel (Lorraine) Janiak; sister, Angela Shew; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marjorie Simmet and Pat (Clifford) Schilcher; brother, Raymond (Audrey) Janiak; and brother in law, Clifford Shew.
There will be no formal service.
