Richard "Rick" J. Watkins, 55, passed away on February 10, 2023 in Appleton, WI. He was born in Oshkosh, WI to Judith (Voight) and Kenneth Watkins on September 8, 1967.

Rick loved to read comic books and attended Amtgard events. He was also a gamer, both video games and tabletop games and enjoyed watching Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Rick was a devout Milwaukee Brewers fan as well.

He is survived by his sister, Karry (Arlen) Burgess; niece, Johanna Moehn. He is further survived by aunt, Betty Watkins; uncles, Ralph (Rose) Watkins, and Gary Schroeder; nephew, Michael Watkins.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Ken and Judy Watkins; uncle, Earl Watkins Jr.; and aunt, Gloria Schroeder.
A funeral service will be held at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon Street, Oshkosh on February 25, 2023 with visitation being held from 9am until 11am and services to follow at 11am.

A burial at Ellenwood Cemetery will be held in Spring.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
