Rick A. Krause, age 44, of Omro, died unexpectedly as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident, early Saturday morning, June 21, 2008. He was born July 5, 1963, in Oshkosh, the son of Norman and Sandra (Johnson) Krause. Rick attended school in Omro and was an Omro High School graduate. Rick enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, 4-wheeling, Ford Trucks, cycling and benefit rides. He was employed for a number of years at Oshkosh Truck. His outgoing and social personality will always be remembered and deeply cherished.

Rick is lovingly survived and will be greatly missed by his parents, Norman and Sandy of Oshkosh. His aunts and uncles, Betty (Fred) Southworth of Oak Creek, WI., Glenda (Arden) Schalk of Green Bay; Gordon Krause of Oregon, Allen (Sharon) Krause, Vernon (Kathy) Krause, and Dianne Krause, all of Berlin, Judy Krause of Omro, Judy (Dan) Everett of N.C., Clifford (Joan) Johnson, Larry (Bernie) Johnson, and Randy Johnson, all of Fond du Lac, Blair (Terry Jo) Johnson of Shawano; great aunts and uncle, Harriet Johnson, Bernice Smith, Wilma Kannegieter, and Frank (Karen) Kushman; many cousins and numerous friends. Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, and four uncles; Leland, Leonard, Lynn and Marlin Krause.

In respect to Rick's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends at the Omro Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and then again on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard O. Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow at the Omro Cemetery.
