Robert C. "Bob" Haase, age 71, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on May 4, 1934 in Oshkosh to Carl and Grace (Henning) Haase. Bob married Darlene Tiffany in 1957 and he later married Elaine R. Wyman on April 5, 1975.
Bob was employed as a machinist for Medalist Industries for 34 years before his retirement. He was a long-time member of First English Lutheran Church where he served as a chauffer for church events. Bob was a well-known bartender at Harold's Bar. He enjoyed all sporting events, especially following his grandchildren's athletic events. He really enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife: Elaine Haase of Oshkosh; two sons: Kenneth Haase of Charlton, Massachusetts; Thomas Haase of Neenah; two daughters: Cindy (Al) Cady of Oshkosh; Patty Haase of Neenah; four grandchildren: Brandon, Mitchell, Cole, and Kathryn; three step-children: Don (Mary Ann) Wyman of Oshkosh; Dennis Wyman of Oshkosh; Debra (Crockett) Chamberlin of Oshkosh; six step-grandchildren: Jason (Angie), Tina (Tony), David, Nathan, Kate, and Joe; and one special great-grandson: Alex. Preceding Bob in death are his parents and one brother: Ronald Haase.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota Street, with Reverend Chuck Fluegel officiating. Interment will follow the services at Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Bob's family requests memorials to First English Lutheran Church.
