Robert (Bob) E. Haber, 83, passed away on October 28, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center, after complications with pneumonia. He had currently been residing at Park View Health Center. Bob was born on, May 24, 1932, to Emma and Erwin Haber, and lived all of his life in Oshkosh. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and it was while stationed in Newfoundland, Canada, that he met his wife of 59 years, Betty. He was employed at Kimberly Clark, in Neenah, for twelve years, and later at Wisconsin Public Service, from where he retired in 1994.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty, three children, Lisa Saunders (Alan Bartel), Lori Neitzel, and Jeffrey Haber, all of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Matthew Saunders, Ashley Saunders, Alyssa Haber, Mackenzie Buss, Keira Neitzel; and one sister, Marlene Haber. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law, Bradley Saunders.
At Bob's request, there will be no visitation and a private family service at Lake View Memorial Chapel.
