Robert W. Lakins, age 60, of Omro, died July 3, 2012 at his residence. Bob was born April 20, 1952, in Ft. Pickett, VA, the son of Frank W. and Catherine J. (Vonderloh) Lakins. He was a graduate of Omro High School. Bob had worked at Leach's and Alliance Laundry Systems. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, coaching kids and watching the Packers. He married Linda Frank on May 14, 1977 and together they were blessed with two wonderful children.

Bob is loved and will be missed by his wife, Linda; children, Katie Jean (Jason Vander Velden) of Winneconne and John David of Omro; sister, Barbara McKay; brothers and sisters in law, Carol (Jim) Goheen, Ron Frank, Rick (Peggy) Frank, Peggy (Phil) Tritt, Kay (Mark) Erdman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father in law, Inez and Clarence Frank, and brother in law, James "Harvey" Frank.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 6, 2012, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. A memorial in Bob's name is being established.
