Obituary
Robert "Bob" Thomas McKay, age 66, of Oshkosh, WI passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, in Omro. Bob was born June 23, 1958, in Brookfield, the son of Robert Thomas McKay Sr. and Elisabeth Alma McKay, nee Wolters. He was united in marriage to Ha "Anna" Thu Mai on April 4, 2013, in Oshkosh.
Bob was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses including Master Carts LLC (Omro & Wisconsin Dells), Master Auto Repair, and the Omro Lube Center, amongst others. Bob was President of the Omro Area Community Center and a pillar of his community.
Bob's hobbies included spending time with his friends and family, particularly at Little Silver Lake Campgrounds, growing his business, hunting, fishing, and motorcycle rides. Through his Master Custom Carts business, he built custom golf carts that would always draw the attention of a crowd as well as put smiles on many children's faces. Bob always saw the best in people and would do nearly anything to help a family member or friend in need.
Surviving Bob are his wife of 11 years, Anna; Sons, Bobby McKay and Jason (Jamie) Dunn; Daughters, Shelley Dunn and Jennifer McKay; Stepdaughter, Minh (Sean) Nguyen; Sister, Mary McKay; Uncle, Walley Wolters; Aunt, Ellen Saelens; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elisabeth; Uncle, William Wolters; Aunt, Leona Olsen, nee Wolters as well as other cousins.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 4:00 at the funeral home prior to the service. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at Seefeld Funeral & Cremation Services in Oshkosh, WI. On Wednesday July 10, 2024, he will be laid to rest alongside his mother and father at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in a private ceremony.
