Robert L. "Robbie" Miller, age 75, of Oshkosh, died Friday afternoon, May 4, 2018, at his home. He was born on April 13, 1943, in Oshkosh, the son of Lester and Grace (Farrow) Miller.
Employed by Pieper Electric for many years, Robbie worked as an electrician in many different commercial and industrial buildings. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church, served as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Town of Algoma Fire Department, enjoyed snowmobiling, dancing, racquetball, golfing, and was an avid fast-pitch softball player in his younger years. Robbie served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Patricia MacFarlane of Oshkosh; his children, Jay (Debbie) Miller of Oshkosh and Kerri (Scott) Goodale of Prescott, Wisconsin; step-daughter, Michelle Alvarado; his grandchildren, Alex and Cody Miller, Christopher (Jamie) Jacobs, Brooke (Anthony) Omabele, Anthony, Cory, and Bryce Alvarado; and his brother, Richard (Sue) Miller. Robbie was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Pastor Tim Greenwald officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
