Robert A. "Archie" Pable, age 82 of Oshkosh, died at Park View Health Center on Saturday, November 17, 2007. He was born in Oshkosh to Joseph and Sophie (Steckbauer) Pable on February 28, 1925. On September 13, 1955 he married JoAnn Sieloff; they enjoyed 52 years together.

Robert had a great love for golfing, bowling and the Packers, but most of all for his family. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After 40 years Robert retired from Kimberly-Clark.

Robert is survived by his wife, JoAnn of Oshkosh; children: Rene (Harve) Ross of Omro, Susan Jarvie of Dalzell, South Carolina, Gary (Regina) Pable of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Paula (Art) Batson of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings: Raymond, Richard, Jack, and Joanne; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Delores and Dennis Schrader. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish-St. Peter site, 435 High Avenue. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Condolences may also be shared with Robert's family at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
