Robert C. "Bowder" Reiter, age 83, of Omro, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Bob was born in Waukau on September 17, 1932, to George and Mary (Thull) Reiter. He graduated from Omro High School, and on June 29, 1963, married Carol Chase. Bob was a mechanic and owned Bob Reiter's Service on Sand Pit for many years. He enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada, tinkering with cars, and mowing his lawn, often not stopping and mowing the entire neighborhood. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years; his children: Robert (Deborah) Reiter, and Gayle (Rick) Pawlowski; grandchildren: Ryan (Dennis) Flores, Annie (fiancée Thomas David) Chase-Macaulay, Stephanie (Matt) Binder, and Michelle Chase; great-grandchildren: Hannah Macaulay, Jackson and Asher Binder; a sister, Helen Fritz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bonnie (Jim) Salm, Jim (Daisy) Chase, Sharon (Brad) Davis, Mike (Kathy) Chase, Susan (Chuck) Doemel, Kathy (Joe) Hughes, Mary (Gerry) Glatz, Connie (Jim) Doemel; special friend Ronald (Joan) Albright; and other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Donald Reiter; and a brother-in-law, Richard Chase.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 2:30 p.m., at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home in Omro, with Father Edward Looney officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney or Diabetes Foundations.
