Robert P. Bob Schulz, age 54, of Oshkosh. Passed away at his home with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 16, 2004. He was born on February 10, 1950 in Oshkosh, a son of Reinhold and Virginia Ann (Hartl) Schulz. Bob married Dorothy Kuhnz on October 25, 1969 in Oshkosh. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1968 and he had served his country in the US Army Reserves. Bob worked for the Neenah Foundry for over 30 years until his health forced his early retirement-disability. Bob was a very avid Green Bay Packer fan who collected many, many forms of Packer memorabilia. He also enjoyed golfing, cooking out and the love of his wife and family.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Paul (Jenny) Schulz of Green Bay and Brian Schulz of Oshkosh; his father, Reinhold (Cheryl) Schulz of Oshkosh; a sister, Christine Pascarella of Oshkosh. He is further survived by an aunt, Vanessa Hartl and a niece, Angela Pascarella, both of Oshkosh; mother-in-law, Ann Kuhnz; sister-in-law, Diane Kuhnz, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services for Bob will be held today, Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 N. Eagle Street with the Reverend Ralph Hanusa officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel today from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
