Robert "Bob" J. Simpson, age 66, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was born in Portage on November 14, 1955, the son of the late Kenneth and Linda (Krueger) Simpson. He worked for Buckstaff for many years as a material handler, and later retired from the Northwestern as a delivery driver. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering and fixing things. He also enjoyed cars and was seen at many car shows. Bob will be remembered for being there for his family and friends when they needed something and for being a wonderful "Big Brother."

Bob is survived by his brother and sisters: Marie (Robert) Miller, John Simpson and Dawn (John) Rilling; great-nephew, Schuyler Guist; and good friends: Jo Anne Posey and Bob Greener. He was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Susan Guist.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Ave., Oshkosh, followed by entombment. A memorial fund in Bob's name is being established.
