Obituary

Roger Charles Kleinschmidt, age 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 14, 2004 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI. He was born the son of George A. and Anna M. Nussbaumer Kleinschmidt on May 14, 1931 on the homestead farm in Fisk. Roger attended grade school at Fisk and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1949 after graduating from Omro High School. He married Nancy Patricia Joy at Christ Lutheran Church in Oshkosh on July 11, 1953. She preceded him in death on February 21, 1981. Roger was an electrical contractor, and for many years owned and operated All Electric Service until retiring in 1994. He also enjoyed farming for many years in the Town of Oshkosh and the Town of Omro. Roger was a member of New Life Community Church in Oshkosh, a 17 year member of the Winnebago Chapter of Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International, and a 14 year member of the Winnebago Chapter of Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International Bible Study. He volunteered his talents as an electrician with Labor of Love, and for several area Churches. Roger participated in several Mission Trips abroad, using his skills and talents to build churches and orphanages.

Roger is loved and will be missed by his children: Carol (Claire) Davis of Omro, Patricia (Steven) Mueller of Oshkosh, Russell (Susan) Kleinschmidt of Omro and John (Terri) Kleinschmidt of Neenah, seven grandchildren: Carrie (Dennis) Davis, Michelle Davis, Stephanie Mueller, Elizabeth Mueller, Daniel Mueller, William Kleinschmidt and Sarah Kleinschmidt, one great-grandson; Harley Hunter Davis, his twin brother; Richard (June) Kleinschmidt of Oshkosh, sister-in-law; Helen Kleinschmidt of Fisk, other relatives and many friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nancy, brother, George Kleinschmidt, sisters; Phillis (Dick) Folske and Gladys (Arthur) Jankowski.

Visitation will be held at the Omro Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2004 from 2 – 6 p.m. and then on Monday January 19, 2004 at New Life Community Church 3250 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh from 10 a.m. -10:45 a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. A memorial has been established.

The Family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff at Centennial Inn in Oshkosh for their love, kind gentle care and support of their father. In addition, they would like to thank Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac for their comfort and care during his final days.
