Ronald
J. Deising, age 56 of Oshkosh, died at Park View Health Center on Monday, March
15, 2010. He was born December 16, 1953
to Ronald H. Deising and Donna Mae Frank Van Pay.
Ronnie
was a caregiver; he thought more of others than himself. He liked to cook for other people, often
hosting family barbeques. For many years
he provided a home for those needing adult foster care. Ronnie was someone you could always talk
to. He worked as a supervisor at
Lakeside Packaging for many years. He
enjoyed gardening, watching birds, his dog, and sarcasm. Most important was family, he loved his
nieces and nephews.
Ronnie
is survived by his father, Ronald (Donna) Deising; siblings: Vickie (Bill)
Luker, Kathy Crooks, James Deising, and Danny (Tammy) Deising; step-brother, Ed
Thompson; nieces and nephews: Terry (Tammy) Schroeder, Melissa (Bob) Schroeder,
Shaun Luker, Michael Luker, Steven (Mary Jo) Crooks Jr., Tracy Crooks, Jason
(Angela) Crooks, Ryan (Liz) Crooks, Deanna Deising, Corey Deising, and Kristine
Deising; and many great-nieces and nephews.
His mother, Donna Mae Frank Van Pay, preceded him in death as well as
his brother, Paul Deising and sister, Mary Ellen Deising.
A
memorial service will be held for Ronnie at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 19,
2010, at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd. A time for gathering and sharing memories
will be held at the cemetery from 12:00 Noon, until the time of the service.
